Compensation

Salary levels are competitive with accounting firms in the Northwest. Salary and performance are formally reviewed annually with compensation increases and promotions based on performance, skill development, and accomplishments.

Overtime compensation is paid as incurred after consideration of any compensatory time banked by the employee. All employees bank the first 80 hours of over-time which may be taken as additional personal time off. Many employees elect to bank up to 120 hours.

Medical

Our benefits include medical, disability, and life insurance, dependent care and health care reimbursement plans, and our 401(k) savings and profit sharing plan. Employees are provided medical disability and life insurance at no cost. 

Retirement

The Firm makes an annual contribution to a 401(k) savings and profit sharing plan. This annual contribution is currently accomplished in the form of a 4.5% 401(k) savings match plus a discretionary profit sharing contribution.

Time Off

In addition to paid time off in recognition of certain holidays, professional staff may earn up to a total of 30 days off each year including vacation, sick leave and compensatory time.

Training

We endeavor to offer an environment that will help acheive our employees personal and professional goals. We work with each employee individually to develop a customized training plan that fits each employee's needs to help them acheive those goals.

In addition to in house training, all professional staff receive a minimum of 40 hours of training each year. Many professionals receive in excess of 80 hours each year. The Firm reimburses related costs or continuing education costs.

Seasonal, Flex Time, and Alternative Schedules

Seasonal, flex time, and alternative schedules may be available. When possible, we are willing to accommodate a variety of arrangements that may be necessary during your career.

Travel

Travel is limited as nearly all of our clients are located near our office. When travel is required, the Firm reimburses business travel and related expenses.

Memberships

We pay membership fees for state societies and other selected professional and community organizations. We encourage active participations in community organizations.

"Business Casual"

We recognize the movement towards more casual attire and are a year round "business casual" Firm.

State of the Art Computer Technology

We have implemented the latest in computer technology including multiple LCD monitor configurations to assist in our paperless office environment. We utilize a full complement of the most up to date tax and accounting research, preparation, and evaluation software from the leading software provider.  

CPA Examination Benefits

The Firm also reimburses costs for CPA exam study materials, preparation courses, and exam related fees as well as providing paid time off to sit for the exam.
