Our Firm was established in 1947 by James B. Shrader (1919-1990), and over the succeeding years we have experienced relatively steady growth. While our firm has experienced many changes since then, we still believe in the value of relationships.

We provide "full-service" financial accounting services, including compilations, reviews, and audits of financial statements for all sizes of closely held businesses, non-profit organizations and associations. Our tax-related services go beyond preparation of tax returns, to include assistance with recognizing, understanding and analyzing income, estate, and compensation planning obstacles and opportunities. In the area of computer technology, we help clients select and install appropriate accounting software systems and controls. We also offer business valuation services (frequently used for estate and gift tax planning, sale transactions, buy-sell arrangements and marital dissolution situations) as well as litigation support, quality review services for other CPA firms, and general business advisory services. We provide these services to help our clients with specific transactions and general business relationships.
Altogether, we are more than thirty professionals and staff committed to providing accounting, auditing, tax, estate and business planning services of the highest quality in a prompt and professional manner. Through the individual talents, experience and expertise of our personnel we offer intuitive resources to assess complex business and financial situations. The Firm maintains membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington State Society of Certified Public Accountants and has received unqualified reports from all peer reviews undertaken, the last completed in 2005. A peer review is required to be completed every three years.
